Yleah Juliane Mae Tan, grade 12 of Cagayan de Oro city high school, smilingly receives the P4,000 cash from Filipino American Association of North East Ohio (FAANEO) representative Dolores Salmeron-Molina in front of Cagayan de Oro City High School principal William Agomana during Monday’s certificate of acceptance. Tan is the first high school student who had been chosen by FAANEO to avail of the said scholarship. She will be receiving P1,500 monthly for her basic needs, uniforms, and allowances.
