Sikat Ka Higala: Clash of the Wheels

Ashton Martin, Ferrari, Jaguar, Porsche, BMW, and Mercedez Benz were the few of the most expensive cars. The luxury to have one is endless. Wishful thinking, I have rode on some in my stay in the states. Well Chevy Camaro is one of my favorite since the other ones are far more than what I needed. But I am fascinated by it.

The thought of even owning one would mean wealth and fame. But in the last 2 days I was invited for a Car Show just recently, D’Punisher Loko Production together with Superior Customs created Clash of the Wheels @ Limketkai Parking Lot D, from May 16 and 17.

It was my first time to get into one in the Philippines. It was also a privilege to host it. It was a nationwide competition and I had the chance to pick a car of my choice but overall it was a motor bike and car competition. Over 29 entries from all over the country; to be honest I had so many choices and I cannot help but get mesmerized on how loaded the interiors were. The color, the style, the rims, the bumps and all other parts; I was about to be out of my mind. It was so custom-made that the style will have to reflect the owner’s obsession.

I have learned that they would spend millions for it. Modifying cars is no joke. It has to be full detailed on the outside case and interiors. I saw that most of this cars had loaded stereos and high definition LED’s even. Now that’s what we’re talking about; nothing to do with my life. I have also met some people in the states who treated their car like their wives or more than their wives.

Now on the motor bikes – I have seen some bikes that were more than what you would expect; some were overrated. Over the top with cartoon like characters, while some went out of the limits and beyond your wildest imagination. I have also seen some were too much but you could just sense the owner’s delight on their work of art. But I knew some of them. Mark Reedo Timosan is one those entries that has won a lot of awards and Jam Diamante and some other entries that I think are one of a kind.

But something to be proud of the Champion of the Car Show 2015 Clash of the wheels winner was Francis Tenny Montuno!

Congratulations Marlon de Larosa and his wife and the whole D’Punisher Loko Production for a job well done; you have made Cagayan de Oro other City known with class and prestige. I have also awarded in behalf of Radyo Natin The Car choice award car no. 13. To all the participants thank you for your efforts and congratulations to your awards. You guys are all sikat…..Sikat Kayo Higala.
