THE 3 Jewels Sports Promotion and the local government of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon is set to host another epic slugfest dubbed as “Engkwentro sa Manolo Fortich”.

The slugfest is slated on March 31 at the New Municipal Gymnasium in Manolo Fortich featuring the reigning and still undefeated WBC World Youth Champion Dexter Alimento from Cagayan de Oro, Raymund Dayham rated number 5 in the Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) and  Mike Kinaadman from Rosales Stable Iligan City are set to compete in the said event.

WBC World Youth Champion Dexter Alimento will square off against Rodel “HardWorker” Tejares in a 108-pound bout scheduled for 10 rounds for the Mindanao Professional Boxing Federation (MPBF) Championship belt.

The undercard match is also pack with action as Raymund Dayham go head to head against Bonbjun Loperez, 108 lbs scheduled for 10 rounds. Plus 4 amateur bouts between Joe Tejones vs. Rowel Garcia, 118 lbs scheduled for 8 rounds; Kim Lindog vs. Romulo Ramayan, 115 lbs scheduled for 8 rounds; Mike Kinaadman vs. Michael Montejo, 105 lbs, scheduled for 4 rounds and Kevin Aseniero vs Raffy Arpon, 108 lbs set for 4 rounds.

Earlier, Alimento won the WBC World Youth Championship against Chanchai CPFreshmart of Thailand in Chiang Rai, Thailand last January 29 after Alimento’s opponent collapse on his stool by the end of the eightound.

Engkwentro sa Manolo Fortich is also presented by the World Boxing Council (WBC), Association of Boxing Alliances in the Philippines (Abap), Marban Stable and the  local government of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. (dave achondo)
