Nestor Ubas sustained wounds on his head after his head accidentally bumped to a big stone during a scuffle with the suspect.

The incident occurred at Barangay Balubal at 5:30 pm Wednesday.

Rico Ubas, 24, who immediately surrendered himself to the police, denied killing his father.

He said he has no intention of killing his father and maintained it was purely accident.

Thinking that  his father was just dizzy, he even gave the latter water to revive him before rushing him to the hospital.

Chief Insp. Ivan Viñas, Puerto police station chief said, he is waiting for the aggrieve party to come to their office to file a complaint against the suspect.

Rico is temporarily detained at the Puerto police mini-cell.
