Through Resolution No. 13414-2019, the City Council has endorsed the proposed ecopark development of the old dumpsite in Barangay Carmen (Phase 3) in the amount of P23.1 million.
This, after noting that the city is one of the local government units that can avail of the allocation of the city per Local Budget Circular No. 120 dated Aug. 15.
Mayor Oscar Moreno requested for a resolution expressing the city’s interest to avail of the allocation for the city under the Guidelines on the Release and Utilization of the Local Government Support Fund.
He said the same was already approved by the City Development Council as part of the duly approved Supplemental Annual Investment Program for 2019. (sp)
