They made it a way of living to supplement their financial needs as they were both studying business in Australia.

 “We started off as an ordinary cleaner from a cleaning company in Australia. After several months of cleaning, we learned the tricks of the trade and made our own cleaning company. Cleaning is so in demand that people are so busy to clean their own houses. Roy and I grabbed the opportunity because cleaning is good money. When our visa got expired and it was time to go home, Roy and I thought of something that we can do to earn money,” Tanya said.

All good things must come to an end, or should it? The day did come when it was time for them to move out from the business that they created and returned home.

“We did almost every small time business that we could make but it was a failure. We were hesitant about cleaning as we thought Filipino people have their own maids to do the chores for them. We didn’t realize it until one friend of ours knew about the business that we did in Australia and decided to make one here in CdeO, he hired us as his partners/subcontractors –Unfortunately, the partnership ended too soon” Tanya said.

Second chances and risk came with the territory as there were unknown factors that they both had to consider before making their own company. But that did not stop them; as a result of their efforts Squeaky Cleaning Services was realized. Although the company is fairly young it has already proven its worth. Happy and Satisfied customers also contributed in the success of the company by sharing their work online and by word of mouth.

“Roy and I could not stand being unproductive, so we decided to build our own cleaning services here in CDO, and we had our first break with Centrio after cleaning their cinemas.  It was unnerving at first, negative thoughts starts to sink in that we might not succeed, etc. but despite of all that, we still took heart and trust God anyway,” She concluded.

The company now caters to High-end condominium in uptown CDO, malls, and restaurants around the city. They offer the following services from Carpet, sofa, bed, and aircon cleaning & repair. As well as warehouse, end of lease and builder’s clean or post construction cleaning.
