St. Mary’s names new director for curriculum, faculty dev’t

St. Mary’s School of Mandumol, Macasandig, Cagayan de Oro City is proud to announce the appointment of Margaret Louise Costello as the school’s Director for Curriculum and Faculty Development in line with the school’s thrust towards personalized, holistic, and relevant learning in the 21st century.

Costello is an alumna of St. Mary’s School. She obtained her MA degree in Communication, Culture and Technology at Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA (2009) after finishing her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Ateneo de Manila University (2007). She has over 15 years of experience in elementary, secondary, and tertiary education. Aside from teaching at St. Mary’s School, she has taught English Literature in Ateneo de Manila University, as well as Humanities and Language and Literature in the Beacon School and Beacon Academy, both International Baccalaureate schools under the K12 curriculum program.

Costello will bring her rich international experience and innovative strategies dealing with the new K12 curriculum to St. Mary’s school. We look forward to an exciting school year with her at the helm of SMS curriculum development program. (sms)
