“Sa initial nga investigation, six gunshot wounds ang naangkon sa biktima pero hulatan pa namo ang official nga result sa doctor,” Salva said.

In an initial investigation, Salva said  Rotoras was killed by two still unidentified gunmen at 1 am in front of his residence at Golden Glow North Subdivision, Upper Carmen, this city.

Rotoras was rushed to the J.R. Borja General Hospital by his driver Jonathan Khobuntin but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

Rotoras succumbed to multiple bullet wounds to different parts of his body.

Police said based on the statement by a witness Rolly Bogo, a watchman of one of the establishments, two men were seen walking away from the area after the incident and were fetched by a black pick-up.

Bogo added that days before Rotoras was killed, he noticed suspicious looking persons at the grassy portion near their building and the perimeter fence of Golden Glow Subdivision.

Rotoras’ wife was quoted as saying that her husband came from a party in the city, and upon reaching the house two men ambushed him.

Salva said they are still conducting an investigation and follow up operation to identify the assailants and possible arrest.

Camp Alagar has already created a special task force to investigate the incident, Salva added. (a.l. ricalde)
