This summer 2019 is sure hot, but then again it is the season of the year where students take their vacation and enjoy summer. This year Limketkai Mall together with R Production is again having a summer art workshop in teaching aspiring artists the basics of drawing and painting.
On its 7th straight year, R Production team of art teachers have been sharing basic drawing and color application to students who have been enrolled in the batch 1 of the mall’s summer art workshop.
This year’s art training started last April 1, 2019 and from Monday, Wednesday and Fridays for 10 sessions the enrollees enjoyed learning techniques on making portraits, anime, painting on acrylic, t shirts, canvass and basics on clay sculpting. Mentored by practicing visual artist and trained teachers, the students surely will bring their knowledge on doing art after this summer to thier schools and on their individual career.
The workshop have varied age range from 5yrs. old to 25 yrs. old which they have been clustered and specialized teachers were assigned to teach. Advance art classes was lead by art maestro Mr. Emie Borres who have done numerous art works that have been prominently hung on various venues here in the city. The first batch of the summer art workshop this year culminates last April 23, 2019 and the art works of the student artist are on display at the 2nd level of the east concourse of Limketkai Mall until April 30, 2019.
The 2nd batch of the Summer Art Workshop will start on May 1, 2019 to May 22, 2019 same venue at Limketkai Mall. So if you want to learn a new set of creative skills this summer please call or text 0917 701 3029.
