It was a stunning night as one by one the 12 lovely candidates walked down the stage in their long gowns designed by this city’s finest at the SM CDO Downtown Premier, Imax Cinema last week, August 11.

The theme for this year’s evening gown was a dazzling elegant white that symbolizes purity and beauty.

The candidates wore the creation of CDO’s top fashion designers from the Oro Fashion Designers Guild (OFDG) — Benjie S. Manuel, Ann Semblante, Alquin Cap-atan, Boogie Musni Rivera, Kiko Dumo, Juniel Doring, Mark Yaranon, Mavy Cooper de Leon, Joshua Guibone, Alma Mae Roa, Ruvil Neri and Gil Macaibay III.

During the event candidate number 8, Ericka Vivero Zayas from Barangay Bugo took home four minor awards given by this year’s sponsors – Miss Blessed E, Nature Spring Waters, Shopwise, and CDO Floristeria.

Candidate number 9 Claudette Mae Elaco from Barangay Bugo brought home two awards Miss M&Co., and Sanctuary Beauty Care and Wellness; Miss Kotex was awarded to candidate number 6 Donette Andrea Marie Napone of Barangay Iponan;  Miss Natasha was awarded to Candidate number 1 Anna Grace Alturas Barangay Lapasan and lastly Miss Le Rouge Salon & Spa was awarded to candidate number 4 Alesa Sudario of Barangay Balulang.

The winner for the best in Long Gown will be announced during the coronation night on August 25, 6PM at Limketkai Center Atrium.
