BUTUAN City — A 14-year old girl has been reported missing to the police by her parents after attending the Sunday mass here.
The mother, Nenita Concepcion, 45, resident of Barangay Libertad, this city tearfully reported to the police at the Butuan City Police Station 2 that her daughter Phoebe Joy failed to return after attending Sunday morning mass.
Concepcion told the police her missing daughter left their house and said she will hear the Sunday mass but have not returned since which prompted the family to look for her but the search proved futile.
She then went to Butuan City Police Station 2 located in nearby Barangay Ambago to report the incident.
Police said they are investigating the incident.
