The Philippine  Regional Language Scholars Foundation, Inc will conduct a three-day seminar-workshop at the Manila Hotel on Dec. 6-8 in celebration of its 30 years of existence as a leading language organization in the country.

The object of the seminar-workshop is to provide academicians, educators and practitioners with a forum on language teaching and learning.

In addition, it will also give input on Assessment, Curriculum and Language education policy.

The keynote speaker is Dr. Susan Leong, PhD, Executive Director of the Regional Language Center in Singapore along with other foreign language experts expected also to speak.

Dr. Luz S. Almeda, a former Regional Director of the National Capital Region of the Department of Education (DepEd) is the President of the PRLSFI, composed of officers and members all of whom are alumni of RELC.

The PHRELCSFI, SEAMEO, Philippine chapter is officially accredited with the Philippine Regulatory Commission with CPD accreditation no. 2017-049.

Target participants of this international forum are the regional and assistant regional directors of DepEd and its superintendents, and their assistants including principals, education supervisors and teachers from both public and private schools, colleges, universities, especially alumni of RELC in Singapore.

The theme of the seminar is “Changing Landscape of Language Education”.
