Tony Labrusca earns ire of netizens after NAIA outburst

Anthony Angel “Tony” Jones Labrusca, Jr. or better known as Tony Labrusca the star of “Glorious” is in hot waters for his uncalled behavior against Immigration officials at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 after immigration officers stamped his passport for a 30-day stay only.

He also earned the ire of netizens after he twitted (deleted) “Just landed in Manila and the Philippine immigration only gave me 30 days here. LOL k”.

According to one of the immigration officer Janine Salvador, Labrusca shouted and cursed at their supervisor and bragged that he was a celebrity.

Meanwhile, Kagay-anon Noraisah Saud who was also present during the fiasco was appalled and had this to say “He’s so busy building his abs that he forget to build his character”.

The actor has yet to comment regarding the incident as of this writing, but his father has reached out and apologized in behalf of the actor by commenting on one of the post.

For its part, Dana Krizia Sandoval Bureau of Immigration spokesperson also warns travelers against belittling its officials.

“It is against the law to disrespect immigration authorities, and violating aliens may be excluded and blacklisted from the Philippines. Showing disrespect to symbols of authority is essentially showing disrespect to the country,” Sandoval said.
