For possesing illegal drugs, a trisikad driver is now languishing in jail.
Senior Insp. Ramsis Cartagena, police precint number 9 commander, identified the suspect as Ramir Pabericio, 59, residing at Zone 6, Sitio Balite, Barangay Bugo, Cagayan de Oro City.
The suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by Cartagena and his team.
Police raiders recovered two sachet of suspected shabu from the possesion of Pabericio.
Cartagena said, his office had been receiving reports on the prolifiration of drugs at the said area thus, the operation was conducted.
In between sobs, the suspect denied the allegation claiming the evidence was planted.
“Wala ko sukad mag-gamit og shabu hilabi na ang pagpamaligya. Duna seguroy nasuko sa ako busa gibuhatbhatan kog sala nga pusher ko,” Pabericio said.
Yesterday, police brought the suspect to the crime laboratory for a drug test. If he tests positive, it could strengthen the case against him.
