ALU-TUCP Regional Operation Director Nicandro Borja said that their legal counsel lawyer Jay Albarece already have their position papers to respond the Wage Board’s mandate.

According to Borja, 7 members of the Regional Wage Board in Region 10 wanted their petition not to be dismissed for Wage Increase in ALU.

In April 2019, the ALU-TUCP filed their petition at the Regional Wage Board for Wage Increase at a rate of 782 pesos per day across the Board, plus additional salary, for private sector employees in Region 10 that receive only minimum wages of 365 pesos per day across the Board.

“Kon ma-approve ang among petition, mahimo ang P1,147.00 kada adlaw ang atong suweldo dinhi  sa Region 10”,” Borja said.

Borja, who is a member of the Regional Wage Board, said that he has a  concern to the petition not to be dismissed by the Wage Board for wage increase in ALU, even this after the National Capital Region (NCT) Wage Board dismissed their Petition for wage increase in Metro Manila.

“I Will support  our Wage Increase Petition, even i am a member of wage board because, klaro kaayo nga na-ay supervening Condition sa atong economic situations,  kay misaka baya ang presyo sa mga palaliton,” Borja said.
