We saw the movie and it was epic, reprising her role as the lead character Angelina Jolie was, as always, stunning to watch, from the storyline and in-depth background story of Maleficent’s roots and tear-jerking mother and daughter moments that you shouldn’t miss. We don’t want to disclose too much info regarding the movie — That wouldn’t be fair.

Evnts IN Style by Ian Nuer also went all out in designing a Maleficent themed photo booth complete with wings and horns for that instagramable shots to share on your social media, when you watch the movie. Don’t forget to use their official hashtag #SeeMaleficentAtSMCinema.

A little heads up, SM is now banning the use of Cellphones to prevent camcording in the Cinema, this means all mobile phones will have to be surrendered before you enter the cinema.

It’s a great move by the mall in promoting the anti-camcording law. Not only that, but not having your cellphone with you can be beneficial and to other moviegoers, as it lessened the distractions from the phone’s lights and notifications. You can focus on what you came there for — to relax, enjoy and watch a great movie.

The film is Directed by Joachim Ronning, and stars Angelina Jolie (Maleficent), Elle Fanning (Aurora), Chiwetel Ejiofor (Conall), Harris Dickinson (Prince Phillip), Michelle Pfeiffer (Queen Ingrith) and many more.

Base on the trailer, Maleficent and her goddaughter Aurora begin to question the complex family ties that bind them as they are pulled in different directions by impending nuptials, unexpected allies, and dark new forces at play.
