Bulua National High School, yesterday, received the newly-completed water supply system from the City Government and the Cagayan de Oro City Water District (COWD). Gracing the occasion was City Mayor Oscar S. Moreno, Councilor George Goking, Bulua Barangay Chairman Al Legaspi Jr., Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Jonathan S. Dela Peña, and Engr. Isidro Obligado of the OBO, together with the COWD Board and Management. The project got under way on Dec. 27, last year and was completed on April 4, this year with project components that include distribution lines, PE service lines, an electromagnetic flow meter and an air release valve. The total project cost is P924,169.41 and funding was sourced from COWD’s P6 million budget allocated annually for water-related projects endorsed by the local chief executive. (pr)
