Iligan City — The wife of retired police SPO4 Ruben Vilbar questioned the way the anti-narcotics operatives conducted a raid in their house at Lugait, Misamis Oriental as reflected in a blotter she filed before SPO2 Renato Fernandez of the police station in Purok Masilakon, Poblacion of the same town.
“The raiding team just barged in and destroyed our CCTV,” Maria Carina Vilbar, 53, said in her blotter, adding that the wires of their security camera were also destroyed along with its router.
A composite team of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency of the regional office, the Misamis Oriental Police, and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group raided the Vilbar residence on Tuesday morning by virtue of a Search Warrant from the Regional Trial Court-Branch 18 in Cagayan de Oro City.
Vilbar claimed in the blotter that there were no local government officials present during the raid.
The raiding team found 10 sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 50 grams with an estimated value of P340,000, one cal .45 pistol with assorted live ammo, several magazines for the pistol, one M16 rifle, and one live rifle grenade.
Vilbar claimed that people were just envious of what they have achieved through hard work as they have several businesses, like lending, and having buildings for rent, as well as having a resort.
