WHY should Interior Secretary Mar Roxas succeed PNoy? Did Roxas say anything about going after LP members involved in Disbursement Acceleration Program, and Priority Development Assistance Fund mess? Daang Matuwid or Daang Natuwad?

Why should we even believe Mayor Moreno’s endorsement of Roxas when he himself has been very mysterious in many ways? Indeed, lisod kayo ang paghimo reporma especially so when Roxas is tasked to reform his allies (?). Would Roxas care to investigate his allies, including those in Cagayan de Oro City? I doubt it. Roxas is in a quicksand. The more he reaches out from his allies, the more he sinks deeper.

Thank you, Mr. Amadeo “Tatoy” Neri, for posting the article (Congress is the Philippines’ biggest criminal syndicate) of Mr. Tony Lopez written some time in 2013. It’s nice to read comments from intelligent people like Antonio Motalvan, Raul de la Fuente and Sandy Rijskamp. I wish there would be more.

Haven’t the Filipino people been robbed long enough? Or is the Philippines too rich to satisfy the insatiable greed of those who took and continue to take advantage of our weak system?
Personally, I have nothing against Roxas.

Certainly, I do not agree that he made medicine affordable to the poor. If he ever hopes to see his rating rise, he doesn’t need the Liberal Party. He needs to fight it and call a spade, a spade. That won’t make him President, all right, but it will make him a man.

It’s been said before and probably, still is. Drug is a problem second only to corruption. Why is it so? Somebody commented, “Our law has many loopholes.” I disagree. It’s not “maraming butas” but “maraming kasabwat” (many cohorts).

They are not inherently corrupt. They become part of the corrupt system for fear of being ostracized by not being a team player. Ah, this reminds me of that “Can he deliver?” thing.

We just celebrated Independence Day. Flags fluttered everywhere. My friend Joe Felicilda sent me a message about the lack of display of this symbol. What for? Is it to show one’s sense of nationalism or patriotism? It’s in the hearts.

Let everyone take a few seconds and look at the flag and ask, “Am I true to this emblem?” “When I am supposed to protect, I cooperate with the criminals. When I am supposed to apprehend, I gave in to grease money. When I am supposed to safeguard, I collude to making loopholes.”

Drug money easily makes anyone rich. But karma will claim his comeuppance from our loved ones. History is replete with such cases.

Sen. Koko Pimentel filed the bill. Sen. Nancy Binay rejected it. If Koko gets it passed and enacted, the Anti-Dynasty Law would have accomplished one phase of the whole master plan to deter VP Binay from running for President.

Rambotito is not to be deterred even if not one would accept his offer as running mate, even if everything has already been thrown at him. It’s not that he is not getting the message. He just won’t accept being cowed to do it. He thinks he is better and stronger than the former Supreme Court Chief Justice.

Well, he has the money to burn. There is just too many around him waiting for what may come along the way. Guess what! He will!
