COUNCILOR John Michael Seno, chair of the City Council committee on sports and youth development, with the Youth Works PH successfully conducted a two-day joint action planning workshop with associates from Cagayan de Oro City and Balingasag, Misamis Oriental.
The workshop served as a ground for the participants to brainstorm and framework actual steps in implementing the Youth Works project for year two.
The activities to be implemented include, collaboration with government agencies, firms and schools in providing employability seminars to the youth; and identification of out-of-school youths who are eligible for work-based training programs. (sp)
