DIGOS City ― Three newly identified drug personalities fell into the hands of the authorities during a sting operation at Purok Palmera, Roxas Street, Barangay Zone 2, this city on Tuesday night.

Lt. Colonel Hamlet Lerios, Digos City acting police chief identified the suspects as Mc Win Quijano Macaresa, 36, a resident of Purok Palmera, Roxas Street, Barangay Zone-2, Digos City; Clifford Delgado Cañada, 30, a mechanic, and a resident of Purok-20, Barangay Guihing, Hagonoy, Davao del Sur; and Jamail Arbol Pacalma, 28, laborer, a resident of Barangay Aplaya, Digos City.

The poseur-buyer got one sachet of suspected shabu from Macaresa during the conduct of the sting operation.

The P1,000 bill marked money was also recovered from his possession including another four sachets of suspected shabu during the body search, the police said in its report.

An all-weather pipe tube, disposable lighter, aluminum foils, and identification card were among those seized during the operation, Lerios said.

More or less 4.81 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P72,150 were seized during the said buy-bust operation, according to the police.
The recovered drug evidence and the suspects were brought to the Regional Forensic Unit at Candelaria Street, Ecoland, Davao City for laboratory examination, and drug testing, respectively.

They are currently placed under the custody of the Digos City police office while the pertinent documents are prepared for filing in court.

The operation was launched by Digos City police with the cooperation and coordination of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit/Regional Special Operations Group, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit/Provincial Intelligence Unit, PDEA-11, and RIU-PIT of Davao del Sur.
