MINDANAO GOLD STAR DAILY — Since its founding in 1989, Mindanao Gold Star Daily has served as the island’s premier “Trailblazer” in community journalism. Envisioned by Founder Ernesto G. Chu as a vehicle for countryside development, the paper bridges the gap between urban progress and rural growth across 24 provinces and 20 cities. With a massive daily circulation of 60,600 and a vast network of 80 bureau offices, it remains the only daily community newspaper with island-wide reach. A multi-award-winning publication, it is a Philippine Press Institute Hall of Fame awardee for Business and Economic Reporting.
