Malnegro has informed the public about the harassment during his 6-7 am program after the window glass of his residential house inside the Paradise Subdivision in Tres de Mayo, Digos City was shattered.

“We heard a loud bang at about 1:46 am where we discovered that the window pane was already broken. We thought somebody just threw stone or something that broke it. We immediately informed the police about the incident which they quickly responded,” Malnegro said.

At about 9 am, Mal-negro’s wife, a city hall employee went to the police station and reported that they discovered the bullet slugs inside their residence.

When police returned to the crime scene, four slugs from caliber .45 went through the window glass pane and also hit the glass of their car parked at the garage.

Malnegro said he will not be cowed by any acts of intimidation.

“I am just doing my job as a journalist. It is an act of cowardice aimed to stop me from disclosing wrongdoings in the community whoever they are.”
