A TEENAGER was arrested on Tuesday after he allegedly attempted to blackmail his former girlfriend into having sex with him inside an inn in the city.
Carmen Police Station commander Senior Insp. Denver Vergara identified the suspect as one Abdullah Bato, 19, a resident of Block 17, Lot 26, Villa Angela Subdivision in Barangay Balulang here.
Vergara said Bato has allegedly been asking for more nude photos from his former girlfriend.
Bato allegedly blackmailed his former girlfriend into having sex with him otherwise he would tell her parents that she is having a relationship with a Christian.
“Magkarelasyon sila dati and may hawak na mga nude photos ng complainant ang suspect,” said Vergara.
Bato’s former girlfriend, 18, filed a complaint at the Carmen police station against her former boyfriend.
The Carmen and Divisoria launched an entrapment operation based on the complaint filed by Bato’s former girlfriend on Tuesday.
Bato was arrested in a room at the D’ Morvie Suites along Yacapin Street, this city.
The suspect is now detained pending the filing of charges against him, Vergara said. (a.l. ricalde)
