Winning Answer
During the final interview phase, contestants addressed how to preserve local tradition while Tubod transforms into Panguil Bay’s premier growth center.
Asked what Tubodnon tradition she would pass on to her future child 20 years from now, Cleland pointed to resilience and the town’s cultural folklore tied to the Sagingan Festival. She recounted the festival's legend of a sultan who saved the town from a threatening encanto (mythical spirit), framing it as a symbol of the community's enduring strength.
Cleland urged the next generation to carry that same spirit forward.
"I want my child to carry on that—that she or he should remain resilient. Whatever obstacles or challenges you face, as long as your heart is filled with kindness and strength that you are willing to give to your community, then I would gladly let her live that tradition."
