During the event, Laureen shared some fashion tips, fashion hacks, and a few glimpse of her humble beginnings. “I started blogging because I really just wanted to keep a photo diary of my outfits.” Laureen shared. Mags also provided a rack of clothes that are displayed on stage, where Laureen used, to show the audience how to mix and match clothes.
The stylist and traveler was also very game and open in answering fashionelated questions from ABS-CBN TV Patroller, Greanne Mendoza and Mag TV Na, Asenso Ka host, Mommy Marg. The audience was also given a chance to ask the blogger, questions out from their personal styling problems. After all the questions casted, all of the fanatics was given a chance to have a photo op with Laureen on stage.
When asked how her visit to Cagayan de Oro is, the blogger shared that she is very overwhelmed of the numbers of people who welcomed her in the city, “Thank you so much for inviting me here, it is very heart-warming that I am here, and that I am overwhelmed of how many of you welcomed me, especially on instagram, there are actually people leaving a comment that they’d love to come but can’t because of their job schedules and classes. But hopefully I get to come back.” Laureen happily shared.
After the event, Bigbys announced the 10 lucky winners who got to dine and chat with Laureen at Bigbys Centrio up-close.
When asked for her message to those who aspire to become a successful blogger like her, she shared that the secret is to know yourself first, “Be unique. Always know your personality first, because there are so many bloggers out there, and the most important thing in creating a blog is to be unique and know yourself. You can put a lot of content in a blog, but the most important thing is that you put contents that are original and yours.” Laureen shared.
