When tourists come and prove it is safe here, then they will surely invest here,” he said. “We need to prove to them that Mindanao is a safe place, we won’t let them picture out that Mindanao is a killing place. In general, Cagayan de Oro is peaceful; I always wanted to produce that Cagayan de Oro as the business hub,” Jerome said. Mr. Jerome wants to show Mindanao products and how talented Mindanaoans are. He already featured Mindanao products such as bags, pots, creative talents, papers, homegrown fashion designers' works, abaca and handicrafts.
