By Edwin Iyo Correspondent The majority of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Misamis Oriental has approved the P2,723,622,691 proposed budget for next year, Provincial Board Member Fredrick Khu confirmed over the yesterday. He said the annual budget of 2018 was approved by the plenary without any revision. Board Member Wayne Militante bared that Governor Yevgeny Vincente Emano’s budget for confidential expenses amounted to P42 million, while Misorcares’s approved budget is P70,363,328. The approved budget for social services amounts to P1,180,957,904,  while P910,806,762 have been alloted for the province’s general fund. Militante added capitol’s economic services has been alloted with P631,858,025. This year’s special purpose fund has been alloted with P704,022,171, while P674,785,762 has been alloted to province’s budgetary requirements and subsidy.
