Winning Answer

During the final question-and-answer portion, candidates were asked what single moment or feeling they hope a first-time visitor takes home after experiencing the city.

Diano highlighted Oroquieta City's tranquil atmosphere in her winning response:

"I would like them to take home the feeling of peace, that the moment they enter their doorstep, they ask themselves, 'Why does Oroquieta feel like home?' Because I genuinely believe that the beauty of a city is not measured by how long a tourist stays, but how deeply it stays with them.

Oroquieta City, the capital of Misamis Occidental, offers a rare kind of peace—a freedom where you can slow down, take a deep breath, because you are not in a battle against time. And that is something that the tourists will look over again and again and again. And I believe that that is Oroquieta City's greatest gift to the world: the feeling of solitude, serenity, and tranquility."
