CAGAYAN de Oro City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy today called on the city residents to stay calm and refrain from making speculations following the fire incident inside the Army’s 4th Infantry Division munitions depot in Barangay Patag, Cagayan de Oro City Monday night.
It was reported that three civilians incurred minor wounds due to shrapnel when a fire incident broke out in one of the buildings inside the ammunition complex of the 10th Forward Service Support Unit.
Uy said the City Social Welfare and Development Office already dispatched food packs for the 25 families displaced by fire and explosions at the 4ID Gym evacuation center. Clearing operations are underway, according to Uy. (Ben Balce)
