SENATOR Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla, Jr. visited Misamis Oriental yesterday, where he distributed aid to over 1,600 residents in Claveria as part of his ongoing outreach efforts. Each beneficiary received ₱3,000 in assistance.
Revilla was welcomed by Governor Peter Unabia and Congressman Christian Uy. During a brief interview, the senator reiterated his commitment to pushing for the passage of his proposed bill to lower the retirement age of government employees from 60 to 56, allowing them to enjoy retirement earlier.

“If I get re-elected, I will pursue the bills I’ve already filed,” Revilla said, expressing gratitude to the people of Misamis Oriental for their support in the previous election.
Revilla’s visit to Claveria was part of his broader tour across Mindanao, where he has distributed aid in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development. His stops included Maguindanao, Sultan Kudarat, the Davao Region, Lanao del Sur, and Bukidnon.
