At least, there were no red plates seen on the vehicles which carried the red-shirted passengers as the motorcade went through the major streets of the city.

No social distancing however was observed by the passengers as they were huddled together in the vehicles. These vehicles consisted of four-wheeled and motor vehicles with several back riders on them.

Earlier, the team heard mass at the St. Michael Cathedral at Poblacion barangay where no social distancing was observed there too.

Many of the passengers carried with them red-colored flags and or red balloons. The four-wheeled vehicles bore the numbers 15-O with the “15” colored red and the “0” colored blue in obvious reference to the team of Congressman Frederick Siao which are running for the same positions as theirs.

The “red” team of CGR to note has him (Regencia) is running for congressman, while Vice Mayor Jemar Vera Cruz and Councilor Ian Uy, for mayor and vice mayor, respectively. Some of their lineups are incumbents while others are new faces.

After said motorcade, the team proceeded to Robinson’s place at Tubod, this city where personnel of the Commission on Election was waiting for them.

Earlier another aspirant for councilor filed her CoC on October 7. Reggie Punongbayan then President of Iligan Chamber of Commerce said that she was “compelled” to do so as the city government “cannot” do anything to help businesses address the plight especially the small ones. So she said she had relinquished the presidency of the Chamber because of her filing for the said position of city councilor.
