By LITO RULONA Correspondent THE city council’s committee on education has sent its intial findings on the complaints against City Central School principal Arnold Tejero and his assistant Rudy Villalobos to the City Legal Office so that it could make a recommendation. Councilor Suzette Daba, the committee’s chair, the recommendation would be brought to the attention of the Office of the Ombudsman, Department of Education (Deped), Civil Service Commission, and the City Prosecutor’s Office. Dr. Tejero has been accused of immorality by organized teachers and parents. He and Villalobos were also subjects of complaints for abuse of authority. Daba said the committee would meet again so its members could agree on their next move. “Kung mo-abot sad sa  punto nga kinahanglan among ipaabot sa taas, amo kining ipaabot,” she said. “Unsay among mabuhat among buhaton.” City hall lawyer Noel Resma Jr. said city legal officer Donald Delegencia has pointed out that Tejero is not connected with the local government, and so, the legal observation would be sent to those who have authority over him. Resma however said Daba’s committee could author a resolution to pressure the education department to act on the matter.
