Complete Details: On a Facebook post by KLC Happy Thoughts and Cellphone Repair, they detail how Presidential candidate Ma. Leonor Robredo can manipulate perception on social media. They list them as follows:

1. Blame her for the social media ban of Krizette Laureta Chu, a blogger and vocal supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte.

2. Accuse her of creating groups where news and surveys are posted and ask supporters to “heart” them.

3. Get support from foreigners.

4. Bring celebrities and bands as crowd drawers.

5. Using balloons to make drone shots appear as they count as individuals in the picture

6. Making up crowd size estimate

7. Using cartolina petals on people’s heads to make drone shots appear that there is a sea of pink supporters.

8. Accusing here of bringing in supporters from nearby provinces to swell up the crowd at rallies

9. Inundate mainstream media with press releases

10. Shoot down the credibility of surveys.

Why we fact-check this: This article makes baseless accusations with not an iota of proof to back up said allegations. Basing assumptions on a one-sided persuasion by itself makes for perception manipulation. This post has garnered 1,500 shares which only furthers the perception manipulation intended by the person posting this.
