DIGOS City ― Two males, and a female ended up in jail after joint forces of police authorities and PDEA-11 agents launched a buy-bust operation into a suspected drug den at Purok Riverside, Barangay Cogon, Digos City on Thursday.
At least P135,000 worth of suspected ‘shabu’ were seized from the area where according to the report from Lt. Colonel Hamlet Lerios, Digos City police chief.
Lerios identified the suspects as Jomari Martisano Cusilit, 26, a meat vendor, and a resident of Purok Riverside, Barangay Cogon, Digos City. The police categorized him as Regional Target Number One and a High-Value Target (HVI), known to be the maintainer of the drug den; Mark Donnel Ogabang Violan, 28, a government job order employee and a resident of Roxas Street, San Antonio Village, Barangay Zone-2, Digos City.
Violan is also an HVI and listed as Regional Target Number Two; And Coleen Garcia Borembao, 20, female, a meat vendor, and a resident of Purok Santol, Barangay Tulogan, Hagonoy, Davao del Sur. She is an HVI and Number Three on the list of Regional Targets.
Eleven pieces of plastic transparent sachets containing suspected shabu; a sachet with shabu residue, an Android cellular phone, and shabu paraphernalia were recovered by the team from the area.
The marked P1,000 bill used in the buy-bust operation was also recovered, the report said.
All the suspects were placed under the custody of Digos police station waiting for the pertinent documents for filing of charges and issuance of a commitment order from the court for transfer to the BJMP or the provincial jail.
