POLICE Regional Director Brigadier Gen. Lawrence B. Coop has ordered the relief of P/Col Reynante Reyes as the provincial director of Bukidnon effective April 15 this year.
In a phone interview, Major Joann Navarro, Police Regional Office-10 spokesperson, said Reyes was relieved from his position as he faces an investigation on alleged irregularities.
She said Reyes is facing an investigation due to the complaint against him sent via text messages to Malacañan’s Hotline ― 888.
One of the complaints is that a certain police officer is leaving abroad allegedly without filing a vacation leave said Major Navarro.

There are other alleged irregularities that Reyes had been facing but the complainant is still unknown while the investigation is ongoing, Navarro added.
However, Navarro said that even without the presence of the complainant the conduct of the investigation would still push through.
On the same date, Gen. Coop designated P/Col. Danildo B. Tumanda as officer-in-charge for the Province of Bukidnon said Navarro.
“His (Tumanda) designation as OIC will be automatically terminated until such time the provincial governor of Bukidnon submitted at least three qualified candidates to be the next PNP provincial director in the province,” she said.
Reyes started serving as provincial director of Bukidnon in September, last year, Navarro said.
