Police confiscated around P506,940 worth of shabu from two brothers in a “One Time Big Time” operation in a residence in Barangay Balulang on Wednesday.
The recent operation by the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) and City Intelligence Unit (CIU) resulted to the arrest of Sadam Sumagayan, 27, and brother Saidemin, 20, both were residents of Karisna Karinugan, Barangay Balulang.
Chief Insp. Gilbert Rollen, CDEU chief said the elder Sumagayan is a “high value target” and is a subject of the search warrant where 18 “sacks” of suspected shabu weighing 84.39 grams were confiscated.
“Nakuhaan pud namo og shabu sa iyang possession ang igsoon, dako ang posibilidad nga namaligya gihapon kini,” Rollen said.
The older Sumagayan, according to authorities, is the alleged source of illegal drugs in Barangays Macabalan, Puerto, and Balulang.
Rollen also disclosed that Sumagayan can dispose as much as 200 grams of illegal drugs in a week based on their intelligence report. (a.l. ricalde)
