COUNCILOR Edgar Cabanlas, chair of the City Council committee on subdivision and landed estate, recommended the approval of the Development Permit (DP) of San Antonio Homes Subdivision in Barangay Balubal.
This is with the condition that the developer will provide a functional water work system in the said subdivision within six months upon the approval of the DP.
The subdivision lot covers an area of 22,949 square meters containing 627 lots/units.
It may be recalled that the committee conducted an ocular inspection few weeks ago and found out that the water supply in the area is not yet fully functional.
A representative of the developer said the company is in the process of complying with the necessary documents for the completion of the water system project.
She assured the committee that this will be established within six months.
Cabanlas informed the developer that the committee recommended the approval of the DP for six months only as he expressed concern over the future situation of the buying public.
“Ang mga tao nga mamalit kinahanglan gayud sila tagaan og amenities, that is required by law,” Cabanlas said.
“Pag-abot sa six months wala pa’y tubig, manubag kamo,” he warned. (sp)
