A Mindanao-based, non-profit organisation, Balay Mindanaw Foundation Inc today expressed their support for presidential candidate Vice President Ma. Leonor ‘Leni’ Robredo and her tandem Senator Francis ‘Kiko’ Pangilinan.
In a statement, Balay Mindanaw traditionally conducts a process of dialogue based on its organizational vision, mission, and goals while members also do their own reflection and discernment.
An internal ‘mock’ election will then be conducted to identify who among the candidates it will endorse and support, it said.
For this election, 94% of staff, management, and volunteers participated by filling up an anonymous online form.
In an internal election day survey, staff, and leaders of Balay Mindanaw chose (#10) VP Leni Robredo (100%) for the position of President and (#7) Kiko Pangilinan (91.8%) for Vice-President if the elections were held today.
The candidacies of the two as they believe that they best exemplify the criteria for good leaders that will accompany by the following candidates for Senators, the following figure in the Top 12 (according to rank): (#34) Senator Risa Hontiveros, (#21) Atty. Chel Diokno, (#18) Leila de Lima, (#16) Neri Colmenares, (#32) Samira Gutoc, (#58) Antonio "Sonny" Trillanes IV, (#26) Luke Espiritu, (#4) Teddy Baguilat, (#31) Dick Gordon, (#25) Chiz Escudero, (#45) Matula, Sonny and (#38) Alex Lacson.
For Partylist, the Top 5 are: (#160) - Anak Mindanao Partylist, (#110) Coop Natcco, (#67) Gabriela Women’s Party, (#146) Akbayan Partylist, (#141) Bayan Muna Partylist and (#4) AGAP Partylist.
