St. Rita’s College of Balingasag, Inc. (SRCB) athletes posted 26 top finishes in 16 sports at the Balingasag Central District Athletic Meet, with several winners qualifying for the upcoming division meet. 

The Blue Marians topped team events in boys’ baseball, high school boys’ football, women’s volleyball, and women’s 5x5 basketball. 

SRCB also placed third in the men’s 5x5 and 3x3 basketball competitions. 

In racket sports, SRCB athletes won four Lawn Tennis events, while Badminton and Table Tennis produced a combined seven championship finishes. 

The school also secured top spots in men’s 8-ball and 9-ball billiards, women’s esports, women’s chess, standard dance sports, and men’s boxing. 

Other SRCB athletes earned runner-up or third-place finishes in track and field, football, volleyball, basketball, esports, chess, dance sports, and racket sports. 

The school also had qualifiers in Taekwondo, Sepak Takraw, and Rhythmic Gymnastics.

School President Sr. Ma. Jesusita L. Bernate, RVM, recognized the efforts of the student-athletes, coaches, and staff who supported the SRCB delegation during the meet.

The qualified athletes will next compete at the division meet, where they will represent the Balingasag district.

Qualified athletes will now represent the district at the upcoming division meet.
