Kadayawan champ surrenders top honor to CDO Skater Garrido
Cagayan de Oro skateboarder Garren Pol Garrido captured the "Skater of the Day" award at the 41st Kadayawan Festival Open Skateboarding Competition in Davao City. Overcoming funding constraints, training facility deficits, and a knee injury, Garrido placed fifth overall, while fellow CDO native Cheska Edulan won the Women’s Division.
