THE local government of Balingoan in the eastern part of Misamis Oriental has released P10 million intended for the elevation of the lane of the bus terminal level from the national highway and portion of the road connecting Balingoan and Claveria in this province.

Engr. Reynon C. Ortiz, municipal planning and development coordinator, said the improvement done on the terminal was to address the complaint of bus drivers.

Ortiz said the bus drivers have been complaining that they find it difficult to back up from the terminal alley because the portion of the road that connects the national highway is higher in elevation.

Maglisud gyud magpa atras ang mga driver sa ilang bus,” Ortiz said.

A month ago Mayor Aarun Paul Unabia conducted an inspection of the said terminal and upon knowing the situation, he then instructed to make an immediate solution, Ortiz added.

Ortiz said the portion of the road was being constructed in preparation for the concreting project of the road that connects Balingoan to Claveria.

Mao nang medyo gayod nahabog kay gi elevate naman daan sa highway,” he said.

Ortiz said the constructions are expected to be finished by June, this year.
