A SUSPECTED rapist in Bukidnon is now behind bars after he was arrested by authorities yesterday afternoon.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, the police provincial director, identified the suspect as Allan Mar, 51, single, construction worker, and a resident of Purok 2, Crossing, Libona, Bukidnon but is currently residing at Purok 1, Barangay Ilaud, Inabanga, Bohol.
The suspect was nabbed by personnel assigned at Libona Municipal Police Station led by Police Lt. Manolito Budo together with Lila Municipal Police at Poblacion of the said barangay at about 4 pm.
The arresting operatives were armed with a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jeanne Marie Abarrientos of the Regional Trial Court 10-Branch 11, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.
Abarrientos disallowed the suspect to put up bail for his supposed temporary liberty.
The suspect is now currently detained at the custodial facility of Lila police for proper disposition.
