ILIGAN City ― Acting city health officer Dr. Belinda Lim yesterday explained to reporters why some persons who have already been vaccinated still have no records there at this office.
She said that this might be because the person who made such verification at the office might have gone there, “earlier.” This means, she added, the names have not been entered into the records yet.
Lim, who is also Emergency Operations Center Health Cluster manager then enjoined those who are already vaccinated, to come to the office in room 306, so that the records could be updated and bring with them their vaccination cards.
Jongjong Borlado, a reporter hired by the city government cited the case of fellow reporter Popoy Libria that there were no records of his (Libria) even if he already had his second dose, the first dose of which was in November and the second, on December 22, 2021.
“There are really cases like these,” Lim admitted. Hence the need to come to room 306 for updating. She too cited that they really have some problems on manpower citing that many of those involved in the vaccination process these days, is on a “voluntary” basis yet as there is “no signed contract yet” and many are reluctant to do so.
Of the 212,000 people that have been vaccinated here, 36,000 still have to get their second doses, she said.
