A 51-year-old Tagoloan resident was arrested by authorities for a robbery charge during a raid at his house yesterday.
Raniel Valones, Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Director identified the suspect as Mario Laparan, single, and residing at Sitio Ganghaan, Barangay Sta. Cruz of the said town.
Valones said personnel assigned at Tagoloan Municipal Police Station led by Police Major Joseph Hasigan served the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jeoffre Willkom-Acebido, of the Regional Trial Court-10, Branch 41, Cagayan de Oro City for the crime of Robbery with Violence Against/Intimidation of Persons.
Acebedo recommended the suspect P100,000 as bail bond for his temporary liberty.
Laparan is currently under the custody of Tagoloan Municipal Police Station for booking and documentation and will be turned over to the issuing court for proper disposition.
