MARAMAG police scored anew when they arrested a 23-year-old laborer in connection with a robbery case yesterday morning.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, Bukidnon Provincial Police Director identified the suspect as Jerlie Callora, single, and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Sabacan of the said municipality in Bukidnon.
It was learned that the suspect had victimized a church building located at the said place thus, he violated the law under Republic Act 10951 otherwise known as robbery in an inhabited building.
Authorities arrested the suspect at 8:20 am, by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Eldred Cole of the Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region-Branch 45, Malaybalay City Bukidnon, dated May 2, this year.
Cole recommended the suspect P144, 000-bail bond for his temporary liberty.
Callora is now detained at the Maramag police station mini cell.
