IN an effort to enhance food sufficiency in Misor town, the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office (DA-RFO) in Region 10, led by Regional Executive Director Carlene C. Collado, recently handed over various vegetable seeds to the Binuangan Lourdes Eagles Club (BLEC).
Over 80 packets of vegetable (Pinakbet) seeds funded under the High-Value Crops Development Program were turned over by DA-10 Field Operations Division Chief Luz I.
The vegetable seeds, funded by the High-Value Crops Development Program, will be distributed to two beneficiary sites in Lagonglong town, Misamis Oriental.

This initiative aims to promote backyard gardening and provide locals with access to fresh produce, reducing the need for transportation from other regions and minimizing carbon dioxide emissions.
BLEC Representative Jenefe B. Durotan expressed gratitude for the seed provision assistance, recognizing its positive impact on securing a local supply of fresh vegetables in the area. (With DA-10/PIA-10 Misor)
