Police arrested a man listed as the number one drug personality in the city in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Puerto at 11:50 pm on Monday.
Ernest Adao, 33, of Justo Ramonal Village Barangay Camaman-an was allegedly caught red-handed selling illegal drugs to a poseur-buyer.
Police Officer 2 Jeremy Valmores, police station 8 investigator said Adao allegedly sold a sachet of shabu worth P300 that led to his arrest.
According to Valmores the suspect is said to be a drug pusher as he is listed number one drug personality by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
“Ma-consider gyud siya nga high value target in fact, naa siya’y pending nga warrant of arrest involving gihapon sa drugs nga gi-file sa police station 2,” added Valmores.
Meanwhile, another drug suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant arrest.
Chief Insp. Ritchie Salva identified the suspect as Jamaica Yabut, 21, of Zone 4, Pasil, Kauswagan.
