I watched “100 Awit Para Kay Stella” because I watched “100 Tula Para Kay Stella” in 2017.
And I cried while watching “Awit.” I can’t say I cried again because I don’t remember crying while watching “Tula.” I don’t even remember how the “Tula” story unfolded but “Awit” does give hints on the former’s plot.
“Tula” and “Awit” star JC Santos and Bela Padilla who happen to be two of Pinoy showbiz’s better actors, and I discovered that through “Tula.” Other Pinoy actors whose movies are most probably worth looking forward to are Vilma Santos, Bea Alonzo, John Lloyd Cruz, Dingdong Dantes, Alessandra de Rossi, Coco Martin, and Julia Montes.
If you have a favorite Pinoy actor/actress that I’ve not included in my list, my most sincere apologies. I seldom watch Pinoy movies and I don’t watch TV, thus, the cluelessness. Nora Aunor would be in that list, of course, but I don’t think the Pinoy movie fan can still look forward to a future movie that stars her.
Based on the ending of “Awit,” I gotta feeling there will be a part 3. What will be its title then? Since Fidel (JC Santos) is a writer, I and my sis-in-law Popette are guessing part 3 will be titled 100 Sulat Para Kay Stella. Or 100 Libro Para Kay Stella. Or 100 Kuwento Para Kay Stella. 100 Salita Para Kay Stella. 100 Talata Para Kay Stella.
Any and every word-related dedication for Stella.
Which now brings me to what could be the title of my diet woes. 100 Beef Recipes for Netnet. 100 Pork Recipes for Netnet. 100 Fish Recipes for Netnet. But how can that be when the only other ingredients allowed are salt, water, butter, ghee, lard, tallow, coconut aminos, and apple cider vinegar?
I’m back to carnivore again after the carb indulgence. Had to stop eating carbs because the side effects were getting worse. I had more body aches and muscle pains the morning after my last carb intake. Even my gums, left hip, and left foot sole were starting to hurt. That’s in addition to hypertension, rhinitis, brain fog, tiredness, and the blues. I had to force myself to wake up and go to the gym every morning.
The recovering left knee was always the first to complain as usual. It was hard to stand up after sitting. So, imagine me trying to stand up from a gym mat during workouts and group exercise classes. Ouch.
I could barely do squats and lunges on a good day because of that knee. Doing those exercises on a bad day requires so much effort and focus, I should wear a ‘Please do not disturb’ sign on my forehead. Oh. I better wear that sign already to ward off unsolicited advice and uncalled-for attention.
There was this guy who shouted this to my face while I was lifting weights: Go! Go! Go!
What the…?
My coach doesn’t even do that to me.
After three strikes, that guy simply had to, uh, go. Boundaries, people, boundaries.
