In a decisive move to uplift the educational system of Misamis Oriental, Governor Peter "Sr. Pedro" M. Unabia recently presided over a crucial Local School Board Meeting. Attended by 35 District Supervisors, the meeting aimed to strategize and implement measures that promise to enhance the educational system, benefiting both the youth and educators of the province.

Key agenda items included discussions on the Budget Allocation for the Special Education Fund 2024, addressing various requests from schools and child development centers, and formulating an employment plan focused on the well-being of recently hired Reading Teachers.

This initiative aligns with the governor’s PAGLAUM Development Agenda, focusing on Aggressive Programs for Youth Welfare and Development.
